On 21st July 2024, Your Bike Project took 11 Somers Town residents to cycle from Somers Town to Southend. The cycle was at a relaxed pace and they had a few stops along the way to rest, connect with nature, and enjoy the wonderful weather. The aim was to build stronger community ties while (re)discovering the benefits and sole pleasure of cycling in the outside of the congested city of London.

The feedback was fantastic and Your Bike’s team is already planning their next community ride. Participants said they had a meaningful experience and are looking forward to future ones.

Your Bike Project is a non-profit organisation, specialising in up-cycling and cycle maintenance.
