STCA has teamed up with Grace & Green and is now proud to be a Period Dignity Organisation
1 in 10 young menstruating people in the UK cannot afford period products, impacting mental health and access to education.
We have chosen to partner with Grace & Green to:
- Ensure access to sustainable and safe period products for all our staff
- Create an inclusive work environment
- Promote sustainability in the workplace through plastic-free and organic period products
- Combine access with education to go further in breaking taboos
Grace & Green’s mission to deliver dignity for all strongly links to two of STCA’s main area of focus: health & wellbeing and women. Grace & Green have are champions of menstrual wellbeing through their market-leading Period Dignity scheme, providing period products and education in workplaces, universities and schools. They work tirelessly to provide access to our sustainable products, combating period poverty by donating at least 2% of our annual revenue in product donations. Their commitment extends further with educational toolkits for primary and secondary schools, all of which are freely available to download.
They track and review the carbon emissions associated with their products to better understand and improve our environmental impact. They recognise the responsibility they hold and promise transparency from sourcing materials through to disposal.
They work with schools, councils and the NHS to ensure vital menstrual health education is available, alongside safe, sustainable period products.
STCA is excited to see the impact our partnership will have for all involved.
